1. Introduction

Welcome to CompareFi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CompareFi application and services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and to abide by all of the terms and conditions herein.

3. Personal Use Only

3.1 Non-Commercial Use: The free version of CompareFi is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the Service for any commercial purposes without obtaining prior written consent from CompareFi.
3.2 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use the Service to:
a. Engage in any commercial activities, including advertising or solicitation of funds or goods and services.
b. Collect or store personal data about other users for commercial purposes.
c. Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Service.

4. User Account

4.1 Account Creation: To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
4.2 Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Ownership: CompareFi and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights.
5.2 Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or the included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

6. Termination

6.1 Termination by CompareFi: CompareFi may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
6.2 Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CompareFi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use or inability to use the Service; (b) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (c) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service; (d) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Service by any third party; (e) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service; and/or (f) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party. In no event shall CompareFi’s aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (U.S. $100.00).

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which CompareFi is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

CompareFi reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
